A recent message to me from Kathy:
"I've been "going nuts" trying to race bad weather; so, I've barely been able to make it down here to even check my e-mail. The insulation guy still isn't returning my calls; so, my "next project" is going to be to go ahead and (temporarily) close that top roof off; so, I'll at least have an air gap and a 2nd layer of OSB over me and my pack.
I've got the out-house closed in w/cardboard and lumber wrap, pending being able to catch more cull OSB that hasn't already been bundled in with a bunch of other stuff. It does have an OSB roof, though. (And even doors and a concrete floor, now! The concrete is to keep anything from leaking in or out, as well as to keep the lower framing from rotting.)
I'm currently doing the completion on the micro's doors, which got "back-burnered" during nice weather, to make way for higher priority projects. I need to trim out out the E one; and, to finish the top section insulation on the W one. I hope to have all that done Sun., in time to finish getting the last couple of places on the water line covered, before the hard freeze we're supposed to get Tues. night/Wed. morning.
I found a small propane heater at a pawn shop; and, I'm hoping to have it operational for that night. I have enough in my tank to fill a couple of 5 gal. bottles (I fill off of my wet-line); so, barring any snags, I'll be able to use it that night."
